Réalisée lors d’une résidence dans le quartier de Nowy Port dans la ville de Gdansk, cette sculpture fait partie d’une cartographie sensible de l’environnement proche qui a pris la forme d’une installation sonore (Imaginary soundscape). Les coquillages qui la composent ont été récoltés, le lendemain ensoleillé d’un soir de tempête ou la mer Baltique avait déversé son trésor sur les plages apaisées du mois d’octobre. Ce nuage, rêve en perpétuel mouvement, flotte dans les airs d’une légère brise et fait sonner les échos d’un rivage lointain.

Created during a residency in the district of Nowy Port in the city of Gdansk, this sculpture is part of a sensitive cartography of the nearby environment which took the form of a sound installation (Imaginary soundscape). The shells that compose it were collected the sunny day after a stormy evening when the Baltic Sea had poured its treasure on the calm beaches of October. This cloud, a dream in perpetual movement, floats in the air in a light breeze and makes the echoes of a distant shoreline sound.
