CAMI is a project working on the democratization of computer music. It considers that computers and electronic materials can be diverted and modified to become instruments. It takes the form of workshop where we try to produce live music together, recycling material and programming
This workshop is declined according to the participants. It can be plan for childrens as well as adults groups.

The project of CAMI started with the idea of creating a digital instrument, using only the built in material of a computer, and controlled by gesture. CAMI mpix 1.0 has been created as a software using essentially the webcam of the computer by tracking movements in X-Y axes. Different programs and samples are launched by the keyboard then modified and controlled by body movements. CAMI mpix is programed with Pure data.
