Sound in its physical dimension is defined by the room’s parameters, but, in return, modifies the perception of the created space. The piece is working on the structure of sound and architectural perception, continually redefined according to the listening and the cultural background of the listener.

« Like a landscape, a soundscape is simultaneously a physical environment and a way of perceiving that environment; it is both a world and a culture constructed to make sense of that world. » Emily Thompson, The Soundscape of Modernity, MIT Press, 2004
